Our fishing season is from the 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025

Adult Fishing Permits 2025
Child (Under-16) Permits
If you are buying an adult permit, you can add an accompanying child’s permit for no extra
charge. Alternatively, parents or carers may obtain a permit for their child by emailing
info@whiteadderwatersports.org.uk
Fishing Boat Hire
Fishing boats are available to:
- Season Hire Group (Syndicate) members who share the cost and management of a boat
- Day Boat Hirers who must be an Adult season permit holder or an Adult Day Permit Holder,
- Day boats must be booked 3 days in advance
Note that when staff are at the Centre, we may be able to offer day hire
at short notice, otherwise advance booking is essential
- Boat Hire does not include a fishing permit
Hire is to an adult permit holder only and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Maximum of two rods or three people in a fishing boat.
2025 Season Fishing Boat Hire
- £300 shared by 2-6 Adult Season Ticket Holders.
We have a limited number of fishing boats that are available for Seasonal Hire. Hire is by
a group (or ‘syndicate’) of between two and six Adult Season Permit holders. If you are
interested in forming a group to hire a boat for the season, please contact us by email:

Youth Fishing Events – Call for Volunteers
This year we are working with the Tweed Foundation to promote fly fishing for young
people and will be appealing to regular experience anglers, including syndicate hire
members, for volunteers willing to help work alongside the Tweed Foundation Education
Officer and Whiteadder staff for a few hours on a limited number of free Youth Event Days.
